C Press opened back in 2014 as a fusion of a cold-pressed juice bar and more traditional coffee shop.

Juices are cold-pressed off site in their kitchen and shipped along with fresh food daily to the stores.

There are branches in Fulham, Canary Wharf and Triyoga Ealing, Shoreditch and Chelsea.

They work exclusively with organic food and pride themselves on having over 30 juice flavours. Plant-based and nutritionally balanced- we had to find out more so we visited Fulham.

The Setting

The café is lined along one wall by sleek, industrial fridges stacked with fresh juices and salads.

The selection of small tables are all marble topped and there’s a counter against the window for people watching.

Think a mixture of lycra clad clientele and laptop workers.

The Little Things

As it’s a grab and go fast-paced atmosphere. The salads come pre-packed, but the staff will happily decant onto plates if you are eating in. They are environmentally conscious too, as you only get a straw if you request one.

The Green Juice Test

Here, the test is which to choose. There are a total of five green juices available and twelve juices in total! We had the Farmer’s Market which was a perfect mix of apple, cucumber, celery, kale romaine, lemon, parsley and ginger – not too sweet, yet not too bitter.

We also couldn’t resist another colourful juice and went for the True Love – a zingy mix of carrot, lime and ginger.

They also do recovery lemonades and boosting bombs.

What we ate?

We began with the almond butter toast – fresh, sliced banana and creamy almond butter on banana bread-ordered hot from the bar.

The two generous slices were creamy, filling and not too sweet.

Next up, the Protein Mex salad bowl with rocket, chickpea, sesame, tahini, roasted veg and buckwheat falafel served with a bright harissa dressing. It was a great mix of textures and ingredients. Finally, we had a punchy, turmeric hummus on the side.

The Bill

Juices £6.95
Protein Mex £6.50
Turmeric Hummus £3.75
Almond Butter Toast £6.45

What else?

They offer a 3, 5 and 7 day juice cleanse. You can find the details on their website.

What made us glow?

The idea of returning to try the rest of the juices, the lemonades and bombs!
